How It Works
If you try your first box of Zenlightful bars and don't absolutely love them, let us know! We will refund your order—no return necessary. We want your snacking experience to be stress-free and full of joy.

If you received a damaged item or aren't a fan of the flavor, please email us. While we cannot issue a cash refund to a gift recipient (as we must refund the original purchaser), we are happy to offer Store Credit so you can try a different flavor or product!
Fair Use Policy
We trust our customers, but we reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect a pattern of abuse, such as multiple claims from the same household/address or fraudulent activity.

Please ensure you cancel at least 24 hours before your next scheduled shipment to avoid being charged. Once a renewal order has been processed and shipped, it is non-refundable.

The Details (To Keep Things Fair)
- First Order Only: This guarantee applies to your first order with us (limited to 1 box or Sampler). If your first order contains multiple boxes, we will refund the cost of the single most expensive box.
- 10-Day Window: Please reach out to us within 10 days of your delivery date.
- No Returns Needed: For the health and safety of our customers, we do not accept physical returns. We cannot restock or resell food items once they have left our facility. If you have leftover bars, we encourage you to share them with a friend or neighbor who might enjoy them!
- How to Claim: Simply email us at support@zenlightfulsnacks.com with your order number and brief feedback on why it wasn't a fit for you. We value your feedback tremendously as we grow!
Refund Processing Timeline
Once your refund is approved by our team:
- Processing: We process the refund immediately in our system.
- Posting: Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your original payment method (this depends on your bank’s processing speed).
What Is Not Refundable?
To protect our small business, the following are not eligible for refunds:
- Original Shipping Costs: Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable (unless the error was ours, like sending the wrong item).
- Recurring Subscription Orders: While your first subscription order is covered by the "Love at First Bite" guarantee, subsequent renewal shipments are not.
- Retailer Purchases: Orders placed on Amazon, or at retail stores/gyms, must be handled by that specific retailer’s return policy.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Did the shipping carrier have a rough day?
- Totally Ruined? If your order arrives unusable (e.g., crushed), please email us a photo within 3 days of delivery. We will absolutely replace it or refund you.*
- Wrong Item: If we packed the wrong flavor, let us know and we’ll send the correct one on the house!
- Slightly Soft? If your bars arrive a little soft due to summer heat, this is normal! As per our Shipping Policy, simply pop them in the fridge for 30 minutes to snap them back to perfection. Soft bars are not eligible for refunds as they are still delicious and safe to eat.
- Light or “Cloudy” Color? That is just "chocolate bloom." It occurs when pure cocoa butter reacts to temperature changes. It’s a natural sign of real bittersweet chocolate, not a flaw! Since it is safe to eat, bloomed bars are not eligible for refunds.
