Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

Zenlightful Snacks, LLC Official MAP Policy and Guidelines

 

1. Zenlightful will enforce the MAP Policy at its sole discretion.

2. Zenlightful reserves the right to take appropriate action, including legal measures, against any reseller who violates this MAP Policy.

3. Zenlightful recognizes that authorized accounts have the autonomy to advertise and sell Zenlightful products at any price they choose.

4. Similarly, Zenlightful maintains the authority to decide on product allocations and reseller participation.

5. Zenlightful will maintain a current list of products subject to the MAP Policy. This list may be updated or modified at any time.

6. All products will be subject to a minimum advertised price (MAP).

7. Advertising a product at a price lower than the MAP price will be considered a violation of this policy.

8. This MAP Policy applies to all advertising of MAP Products in any media, including print, online, and broadcast. Website features that are initiated by the reseller such as automatically displaying prices before a customer adds an item to their cart, such as "Click for price" or actions such as “bounce-back” pricing emails (coupons or discount offers after purchase), are considered advertising. Zenlightful may also consider other activities, such as solicitations for group purchases, or other “advertising like” activities, to be advertising if they are intended to circumvent the MAP Policy.

9. It is a violation of this MAP Policy to offer additional discounts, coupons, gift cards, or incentives that effectively reduce the advertised price of any MAP Product below its MAP. Advertising that includes incentives for future purchases, such as gift cards, will be evaluated under the same guidelines as product bundling.

10. Bundling: When Zenlightful products are bundled together it's a violation of this MAP Policy to advertise or sell the bundle at a price below the total minimum advertised price of each individual Zenlightful product in the bundle, or in a way that violates the MAP Policy. Selling Zenlightful products bundled with or as part of a package containing non-Zenlightful branded products is a violation of this MAP Policy.

11. Advertising that a reseller has the lowest prices or will match competitors' prices is not a violation of this MAP Policy, as long as the reseller doesn't advertise any product below its MAP price and complies with all other policy requirements.

12. If a reseller with multiple locations violates this MAP Policy at any one location, Zenlightful may, at its discretion, consider the violation to apply to all of the reseller's locations.

13. While resellers can set their own resale prices, Zenlightful reserves the right to cancel orders and refuse future business from any reseller who advertises MAP Products below the current MAP price or violates the MAP Policy in any other way.

14. Advertising that customers can "email for price" or "call for price" is not a violation of this MAP Policy, as long as no price is listed.

15. The MAP Policy does not apply to manufacturer rebates offered by Zenlightful, which may be offered directly to customers if: The advertisement should include the MAP price, rebate amount, and net price in the same format, with an asterisk marking the net price and the phrase "After manufacturer's rebate" positioned close to the product.

16. Zenlightful may occasionally authorize resellers to advertise MAP Products below the MAP price. In these cases, Zenlightful reserves the right to temporarily adjust, modify or suspend the retail MAP price for the affected products, for a specific amount of time providing advance notice to all resellers.
